Anyway, next time will click for you guys. I took a trip to the mall as well, I LOVE going to malls because all the food excites me. The aroma of delicious food there,,UMMMM....
So while I'm resting up, let me share a new post with you guys.
Underwater hockey, also called Octopush, as the name suggests, is a form of hockey played on the floor of a pool. Two teams of up to ten players compete, with six players on each team in play at once. It is more challenging than the field game. The sport involves lead pucks not too different from those used in ice hockey, sticks and gloves. But the players wear bathing suits and swimming trunks, flippers, snorkels and caps with bulging ear cups.
Before the game starts, the puck is placed in the middle of the pool, and the players wait in the water. At the start-of-game signal, players of both teams swim in the play area and try to score by sending the puck into the opponents' goal.
Play continues until either a goal is scored. Usually a game lasts for 33 minutes; 15 minutes for each half and a 3 minute break in between.
Equipment Used
Swimwear - To increase drag underwater.
Mask - To see clearly underwater.
Snorkel - It enables the player to watch the progress of the game without rising their head from the water to breathe.
Fins - Used to swim faster through water
Stick - Used to play the game.
Puck- It is a disk serving the same functions as a ball does in ball games.
Hat - Safety gear includes ear protection.
Glove - For protection against puck impact on knuckles.
Goal - Serves the same purpose as it does in the field game.
