Hey Friends
It's a nice hot day today and i feeling happy because i am going outside to enjoy the sunshine. :). Today I don't feel like doing anything! I just wanna lay in my bed. But i am here in office. :(
So as i don't feel like doing anything, why don't we talk about my favorite cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar. Today i am gonna share some information on him. You would love reading about him. After all you guys love him. Don't you?
Let's start.
Sachin's full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Born on 24 April 1973 in Bombay, India, he is only 38. His father was a professor and his mother worked with a life insurance company. His Nicknames are Little Master, Tendlya, The God of Cricket, Master Blaster, The Master, The Little Champion. He is 5 ft 5 in (1.65 m) tall. He is Batsman. (in case you don't know) :)
Given his first cricket bat at the age 11, Tendulkar was just 16 when he became India's youngest Test cricketer. At the age of 14 he scored 329 out of a world record stand of 664 in a school match.
What is his Batting style? Well - Right-handed.
His Bowling Style? Right-arm leg spin, off spin, medium pace. His Zodiac Sign is Taurus.
He made his Test Debut on 15 November 1989 against Pakistan and his Last Test was on 2 January 2011 against South Africa. He made his ODI Debut on 18 December 1989 again with Pakistan and his last ODI test was on 2 April 2011 against Sri Lanka (Don't you guys hate this "Last", i know, me too). Guess his ODI shirt number?? Any Guesses? Well the answer is 10.
He became the first Cricketer to score 35 centuries in 2005 and first player to record 15,000 runs in one-day international play. He was just 23 when he was named captain of his country's team for the 1996 World Cup.
Sachin's considerable achievements seem greater still when looked at in the light of the burden of expectations he had to bear from his adoring but somewhat unreasonable followers, who have been prone to regard anything less than a hundred in each innings as a failure.
In his debut first-class match for Bombay in the 1988/89 season, he scored 100 not-out aged 15 years 232 days, he was the youngest player to score a century on debut. He is the only player to score a century while making his debut's in the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy.
That' all Friends. Hope you'd enjoy reading this.
